The full title of Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on the 13th, 1989 in West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became a popular singer and songwriter in early 2001, with stories of heartache. Swift discovered a love for music as a child and soon progressed from performing in kids' shows, before making her first appearance front of an audience. As Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game at the age of 11 she had already begun composing songs. In the following year, she took up guitar. Swift took inspiration from artists from the country genre, such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks in order to write original music that reflected the loneliness she experienced at 13. Swift left Pennsylvania with her parents in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she reached 13 and decided to spend her time in contacting country labels.
